So what do you do when you find out you have cancer?
I'll be honest, at first you fall apart.
You cry.
You text your husband as you sit in the parking lot to please come to you because you don't know what to do or where to go.
You can't talk and really you can't even breath.
For a short time you let your mind go to those dark places that it should never go.
But then, your sweetheart shows up, and never leaves your side.
Together you begin to tell the people you love.
You continue to get tests done, and you continue to get bad news.
You say lots of prayers.
You quickly learn that Dr. Google is not your friend.
You talk to survivors that had your same diagnosis and are now living a cancer-free life.
You let yourself bask in the overwhelming love and support that is being showered on you.
You choose doctors and come up with a plan.
You have trouble sleeping because it is hard to turn your brain off.
You tell bad cancer jokes because some how, some way, there has to be some laughter.
You wonder how you will look bald.
You pull up your big-girl panties and let people stick needles, and dyes, and drugs in you even thought you have always been a baby about that sort of thing.
You let people in to help, even though you have never been very comfortable with that sort of thing either.
You play the cancer card to get out of doing things you don't want to do--and you don't even feel guilty about it.
You take long naps whenever you want :)
You look into your children's faces and promise them that everything will be okay, and you believe it.
You realize that you are greatly blessed.

Just what you did. That's what anyone would do. What a shock. Hope you are doing well today. Thanks for posting on the blog. Great to see your insight and know that this will help you to unwind and let the rest of us share in your journey. Love you.
This is definitely the time to say no to lots of things, take care of yourself, and conserve your energy for the most important things. Focusing on the healing of your body is hard work. If there's anything we can do to help you or your family, please let us know. Vicky
